Here there are many aspects that are broad, for example, the management of information. It is not so much the management, but that after managing it; the human stores that information to be used on another occasion. For synthetic artificial intelligence, it is a challenge to know and understand how we store that information and manage to access it to make a decision, something a machine cannot do like we can in our minds.
Then, From this arises a somewhat recursive question posed by many knowledgeable people on the subject and society in general: Will machines be capable of thinking and being intelligent like human beings??
Personalmente mi respuesta sería así: no actualmente pero puede llegar a un nivel de inteligencia como la del hombre, mas no como la del hombre. ¿Razón? Es evidente que la tecnología avanza a pasos agigantados y es posible que en un futuro no tan lejano como pensamos, podamos dotar a las computadoras y a dispositivos electrónicos; de un grado de inteligencia y razonamiento que les pueda otorgar un cierto grado de independencia. However, habrá un detalle que no hemos podido explicar y ya lo mencioné: cómo en nuestras mentes ocurre todo el proceso de razonamiento de la información que a través de eso, logramos nuestra inteligencia.
Si logramos averiguar eso, podemos dotar a las computadoras de la misma inteligencia que la nuestra, pero mientras tanto no.
A raíz de esto, surge un detalle curioso y es que si esto nos afectaría como seres humanos. Habría que verlos desde varios puntos de vista.
Si logramos dotar a la computadora y/ artefactos eléctricos de inteligencia, nos podría afectar muy notoriamente. Pensando positivamente, nos sería de mucha ventaja en muchos aspectos como la salud, por dar un ejemplo; en donde podría simplemente darse los síntomas del paciente y esa computadora dotada de inteligencia arrogase un resultado para el beneficio del paciente. Así hay muchos casos en donde la Inteligecia ArtificialSynthetic nos cambiaría la vida y la forma de pensar.
Now, un detalle que surge es: ¿el hombre, por dotar de inteligencia a una máquina; dejaría de ser inteligente? Una pregunta muy interesante. It would be somewhat complicated to solve it, but I believe in an idea/concept/thought: if man endowed a computer with intelligence, no matter how efficient it might be, it could never be as intelligent as man. Why? because let us remember that man is the perfect machine. The human being is a non-electronic machine but one that intelligently carries out its needs and problem-solving through natural processes.
Now well, speaking of another aspect; we could ourselves determine to what extent we want to develop intelligence in machines. My perspective is based on the 1950s, a test was carried out that helped to identify if a machine is intelligent, right. I mean the Turing test. It consists of determining whether one is talking to a person or a machine. So far no system has been able to achieve it. What do we conclude? That we have only been able to provide intelligence up to a certain point and not enough like that of humans. But as I said before, until the human process is fully understood, we cannot provide the same intelligence to machines. Then, there is that 'something' missing that we humans have and that is the key to achieving the goal of AI.
