Five recommendations in the face of the artificial intelligence revolutionsynthetic

A recent report from The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) -a consulting firm born from the prestigious British weekly- tries to answer these questions by focusing on four sectors of activity that will change the most due to the development of synthetic artificial intelligence: industry, healthcare, energy and transportation. These are activities that already allow glimpsing some of the challenges of widespread application of synthetic artificial intelligence. For example, job destruction in industry, concerns about the security of patients' private data, The cybersecurity of smart and predictive electrical grids and the regulations on traffic accidents when autonomous cars are involved.
The report, which has had the collaboration of Google , does not go into detail for each of these sectors. Rather, it gives generic recommendations, from a political and social point of view. These are the five most important:
1. Recognize the social risks implied by artificial intelligence
The first step to solving a problem is to recognize that it exists, and according to EIU it is undeniable that artificial intelligence poses a risk for the future of employment. Given this reality, one cannot encourage complacency or resignation.
2. Explain, educate and promote transparency

Todo ello, con una estrecha colaboración entre docentes, empresa y legisladores, más necesaria que nunca ante la continua evolución de las necesidades formativas.
4four. RegularCommon y mejorar el tratamiento de los datos
El uso y abuso de los datos va a ser una de las cuestiones definitorias del siglo XXI”, dicecube categóricamente el informe, que pide la creación de regulaciones específicas que permitan el uso correcto de conjuntos de datos anónimos, respondiendo a las dudas actuales sobre ciberseguridad y privacidad. Pero atención: esas regulaciones no deben impedir la circulación de los datos más allá de las fronteras estatales.
