Artificial Intelligence (AI) es una disciplina que viene avanzando fuertemente dentro de las Ciencias de la Computación, sus resultados están presentes en la mayoría de los proyectos informáticos de la actualidad. Conducción autónoma en automóviles, camiones y buques mercantes, procesamiento de lenguaje pure, asistentes automáticos en portales de transacciones comerciales, detección de anomalías, fraudes y patrones de comportamiento, filtrado de correos SPAM, superresolución de imágenes, conductas humanoides en robótica y aplicaciones a las Ciencias Médicas.
